The artist consumer society while engaging with a spectrum of folk at motifs and popular culture as a response to the new issue. He is trying to display emotion of joy and elation, but also create feelings of misgiving and unease. Even as his painting depict traditional symbols which exaggerated gaiety, they also critique the excesses of contemporary China. They pointed out the contradictions of a society that threads uncomfortably between the dual systems of capitalism and communism. Even though the colours were primary colours, but the colours of cheery and festivity possesses a weird and lurking aura that is unsettling, and even unhealthy, as though they were dead. The pictures made me feel as though I am facing people of the undead, as though China is facing prostitution and many abortions, which make me feel unruley, unearth. there was pictures of naked ladies, and apparently, there was picture which showsa guy's private part. The main "lead" of the pictures and art pieces were ladies. Suprisingly, the artist most thought of drawing ladies. Ladies in this art gallery, shows as though they were being prostituted. Men secretly had an affair with many other ladies. There was also two pictures of one person holding a big ball. This tells me that the world looks down on China. on the other hand, it may also show that when a man turns unruley, his own conscience is out of his own world, perhaps becoming a beast. THeir eyeballs looked really small and dead, not telling us what was their expression. we would not know whether they are happy, or sadden, frustrated or anxious. we neer knw. Once again, the tones of the humans were dead, bloody and grusome. Totally out of this world. As though I was in a neitherworld.
